Your New Rose

  • Choose a location with at least 5-6 hours of sun, air circulation and good drainage.
    1. Amend the soil with E.B. Stone Rose Grow Planting Mix
    2. Dig a hole twice as wide and same depth as the container.
    3. Mix E.B. Stone “Sure Start” in the bottom of the hole.
    4. Plant your rose, filling in sides with amended soil, gently tamping down.
    5.  Make a dam around outside perimeter to hold water.
    6. Soak your rose by hand. Don’t depend on a drip system to establish a new rose.

Keep rose well watered through fall. This may be 2 to 3 times a week during warm weather. It may be once a week during cool weather. For planting roses into containers use a good quality potting soil such as E.B. Stone Edna’s Best or Gardner & Bloome.
Water containers regularly depending on weather and size of container.Enjoy your new rose!
