Fill the pot partially with potting soil. Gently press down to compact the soil. Place narcissus bulbs on top, tips up, spaced about one inch apart. Fill in with more soil until the necks of bulbs are slightly visible. Water well. Cover with decorative rock until soil is covered.
Place container outdoors in bright light. In a week or so green sprouts appear. Water as needed. When bulbs are about to bloom (five to six weeks) you may move them indoors to a bright location.
