It’s not too late to plant your Summer garden!
Vegetables
All your warm season vegetables may still be planted in July. Remember to water deeply and moderate soil temperature with mulch.
Warm Season Vegetables
Beans, Corn, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Melon, Okra, Sunflowers, Squash and Tomatoes.
Year Round Veggies: Beets, Carrots, Chard, Radish, and Turnips.
Pumpkins: Plant starters now for Halloween and Thanksgiving
Herbs
Continue to plant annual and Perennial Herbs in July.
Basil loves the warmer weather. Don’t forget Flavored Basils, Chives, Cilantro, Mint, Oregano, Marjoram, Lemongrass, Lavender, Tarragon, Savory, Parsley, and Thymes.
Fruit
Container Grown Deciduous Fruit Trees are still available: Apple, Apricot, Peach, Fig, Pomegranate, and Plum etc.
Vines: Grape, Ollalieberry, Boysenberry
Tropical and Sub Tropical: Citrus, Avocado, Banana, Mango, etc.
Strawberries are available in 4’’ Pots.
